Some good news...
(2007-03-16)

A proud dad, Ray Morgan, wrote to us about his daughter, Kay.

Just thought it would be good if my daughter got some recognition for all her hard work, so I'm letting you know a little bit about her. Khetsiwe (Kay) Morgan, a Matric student at Kingsmead College, is currently the South African Diving Champion (the first non-white to hold the position) and she is going to be attempting to defend her title at the SA National championships, to be held in Durban next month.

She's been diving since she was eight years old and has now set her sights on competing in the 2008 Olympic Games and consequently has been training very hard to reach the required standard. She's now using dives with sufficient 'degree of difficulty' to stand a chance of making it to Beijing next year.

Her coach, Dominique Philippopoulos, believes that she's certainly got the potential to achieve her dream, provided she continues to work hard (and gets the chance to participate in more top notch international competitions). Kay has already represented South Africa in Egypt, England, Brazil, Canada and recently Malaysia and if all goes to plan she will compete in the Canadian and USA Diving Grand Prix's in May 2007.
