Is running in your jeans?

Andrew King is running the Comrades in Jeans! So why would anyone do that?

Andrew says “Basically I am running the comrades in jeans for 2 reasons. The first is to promote the Freedom Trail as a route and the annual race that takes place along the route every year, the Freedom Trail Extreme Triathlon and also to raise money for one of the charities along the route.

That charity is The Izandla Zothando Centocow Aids Project which supports more than 500 orphans whose parents died of AIDs by providing food, education and clothing. Their home Based Care Volunteers care for more than 1500 sick in their homes and communities in 46 villages. The Youth Peer Educators organize workshops and support youth with information about HIV/AIDS prevention and life skills. Their Income Generating Projects help the most destitute with some income through gardening, sewing and bead making.”
